Foo Town
Pan-Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Asian Tapas · ₹₹₹ · Churchgate
Foo Town is the Churchgate branch of Foo, the Asian tapas chain run by Ryan and Keenan Tham's Pebble Street Hospitality. It opened in 2019 in Nagin Mahal on Veer Nariman Road, on the site of Kamling, the Chinese restaurant the brothers' grandfather Tham Mon Yiu co-owned, and its first menu kept a few Kamling classics such as the Hakka chicken.
The food is pan-Asian small plates: dim sum, sushi and maki and bao, with Thai curries and Japanese-style rice for mains. The truffle togarashi blue rice, coloured with butterfly pea flower, is the dish diners mention most, followed by the yellow curry and the dumplings; the prawn tempura sushi and charcoal prawn dumplings are other favourites. There is a Jain menu and plenty for vegetarians, and the bar serves cocktails and mocktails.
Inside there are booths with high partitions, plus an outdoor section. It is a few minutes' walk from Churchgate station; parking nearby is difficult. Listings in October 2026 put a meal for two at about ₹2,000 to ₹2,500. Recent reviewers mention set lunches and an unlimited weekend brunch menu,; book for weekend evenings.
