About Worli
Central Mumbai at its most vertical, and the southern end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The sea face is a long open promenade with the best views of the bridge, and behind the towers there is still a Koli fishing village that predates every one of them.
- Getting there
- No station of its own. Lower Parel or Mahalaxmi on the Western line, then a short taxi.
- When to go
- Sunset on the sea face, when the bridge lights come on.
Known for
- Worli Sea Face and the sea link view
- Haji Ali Dargah on its causeway just north
- Nehru Science Centre and the planetarium
- The Koliwada fishing village
Tip. The sea face is one long promenade with no shade. Go late in the day rather than the middle of it.
