Project Hum
Healthy, Cafe, Farm-to-table · ₹₹ · Bandra West
Project Hum is a small farm-to-table café in Gasper Enclave on St John Street, Bandra West, near Pali Hill. It opened in September 2022, started by three hotel-management classmates, Raghav Simha, Pragun Bajaj and Jatin Talreja, who were on the Forbes India 30 Under 30 list in 2025. Hum is Hindi for "we", and the idea is to buy straight from farmers: produce comes from farmer producer organisations around Junnar, Nashik and Nanded. A second café opened in Versova in January 2025.
The menu is short and changes with the seasons: wraps such as the Fiery Chipotle and the Thai It Up, bowls like the Habibi Mediterranean with falafel and hummus, sandwiches including a prawn ghee roast and a Korean chicken, and coffee, matcha and Vietnamese cold brew. It is not a vegetarian café; chicken, prawns and fish sit alongside plenty of vegetarian dishes. The sweet potato fries and the Hum chocolate cake are what reviewers mention most.
The Bandra café is compact, with a shared community table and a few outdoor seats, so it can feel cramped at lunch. LBB puts a meal for two at about ₹1,300. It is open every day from 11 AM to 11 PM.
